Boom! - Suggestions?
Well,
I may have lost an engine today. Was driving the 289 when white smoke started pouring out of the right side header, and we smelled coolant. Pulled over and somehow cooled was coming OUT of the rear passenger side Webber, and was actually a good 3/4" deep over both butterflys of that carb only. If we are lucky we lost a head gasket, if not the engine. I have searched previous threads - however could sure use recommendations for a nice torquey street engine. Am leaning toward a 347 or a 410. Could anyone recommend what they consider to be the best engine builder for a decent street-only small block? Thanks! |
Lindy,
I would give George a call at Gessford Machine, so far three motors are all running very strong. Allan |
