351W 4 Bolt Main with Aviaid Pan? Hey all, Does anybody know if the Aviaid RR pan for 351W fits full 4 bolt main blocks (as opposed to center three 4 bolt), such as Dart? I've emailed them too with the same question but thought maybe somebody here might know. Larry |

What make of block? Just need more info.......... |

Hey Rick Dart Iron Eagle to be specific. Four bolt on all mains. Center three are splayed. I figured the pan would probably fit the Sportsman block with the center three mains being four bolt but wondered about blocks with all mains being four bolt. Larry |

I don't have any first hand experience with the Aviad pan, but... The rear cap on the Dart blocks is where you will most likely have interference, if at all. The cap is now machined with a large chamfer on the outside corners to give more clearance for the pan and oil pans designed for 2-bolt caps will often fit without modification. If it does interfere, you can either grind a bit more off the corners of the cap or hammer the corners of the pan out a bit; it doesn't take very much. Hope this helps. jack |

Thanks for the info Jack. I'll post the word from Aviaid when I get it for future reference. Larry |
