Any of you heard the news that Ford Racing is now producing a new "Boss 302" crate engine?

450 on pump gas, streetable makes me be a bit skeptical...yet one never knows

The new Boss 302 block is very nice with splayed bolts on the mains, improved oiling and a fair amount of additional metal to improve its strength. The crate engine uses current production aluminum inline valve heads, not canted valves like the original Boss 302. It is a slick play on words to bring recognition to a High Performance block designed for a market that doesn't require an all out race block. It looks like a good piece for the bulk of our type stuff.
