does anyone have thier flywheel out?
I am looking at mine and it has 21 holes in three groups of 7. the problem i have is three of the holes on mine are filled. i dont want to drill them out if they are supposed to be filled. any help would be helpfull thanks . |
I have no idea where the holes are you are talking about, but be warned the flywheel is off ballance on purpose to ballance out the engine (externally ballanced engine). Drilling holes will change the ballance of you engine! Nothing good can come of drilling on a flywheel, unless you are ballancing the engine with expensive equipment and lots of knowledge.
If I were to guess the filled holes are likely mallory (heavy) metal used to off set the ballance. |
