PVC installation on a 302

Have a FMC crate 302, what to install a PVC from breather on valve cover to the Holley carb vacuum port? Is this the best location?

PCV setup

Clean air is drawn from inside the air cleaner and into one rocker cover.
Crankcase fumes and blow-by are drawn from the other rocker cover through the PCV valve and into the vacuum port at the base of the carby. (see rough drawing)

Hope this is helpful.
Cheers,
Bryan

Bryan,

Thanks for the info. I had the same question on my 302. Although I have changed it several times I have struggeled with my rear main seal leaking. A buddy has told me that it because there in not a PVC in place. Not sure he is right but it makes sense to me and a PVC is going in.
