Cobra Aluminum T-pan
I ran across an original Shelby Cobra aluminum t-pan for a small block ..can anyone give me an idea what it is worth ? Came out of an orginal Cobra.

Can you prove it's an original? How?
New ones run about $600. Value starts there I think.

I thought the cast T-pans were used on GT350's and Aviaid pans were used on Cobras. Memory could be wrong though.

Will have to do some searching to "prove" it came from an original..will post when I can do more research on it. Was told the engine came out of a slab side that had been cobbled up on titling so it may not be original.

If it is an original, it will have a Buddy Bar label cast into the interior surface somewhere, that would indicate correct pedigree. 289 Cast pans are not designed like the more common "T" pan for a Mustang application. Nice find!
