Temperature difference..
Now here is a stupid question from an inexperienced person.
Is it possible for one side pipe be a lot hotter than the other.. I got out of my cobra just now and accidentally hit the pipe and didn't get burned.. It wasn't all that hot.. It was hot but when I went to the passenger side it was a lot hotter.. Both pipes are ceramic coated and so are the headers.. Thoughts??
Seems I just answered my own question.. I forgot I own an LM1 so I hookked it up.. At idle the left pipes AFR is 12.4 and right side is 10.8. So what is optimal? I have a holley 600 on there.

Optimal is about 13-13.5. Both side should be pretty equal. SOunds like you have an ignition problem. Check the head pipe temps and see what you get. On the right side, you'll probably find one that's a bit cold.

Check the plugs on the cold side (rich). Probably a bad plug or a bad plug wire.
