Remote Oil Filter Location

I posted this over in Cobra Talk but decided it probably should have been posted here.

I've mocked up a couple of different locations for the remote oil filter. I've included a link to the picture of the location that appears to work the best.

My question is: Since the remote oil filter is quite high, will this cause any problems that I need to consider?

:)

When I had my car I had mine mounted on the cross brace that went between the frame rails and in front of the engine. It hung down to about 2" above the bottom of the oil pan and worked great, was very easy to change with no spilled oil, and was well protected from anything flying up and hitting it. Also the feed out to the oil cooler was very easy from that position.

Similar location to where it's mounted on an FE and I haven't heard of any troubles with that location.

Thanks for the replies. I'll get the actual brackets made up and go ahead and plumb everything in.
