Quad Exhaust System for 1963 LeMans Cars?
Yesterday evening while thumbing through a book, I noticed that at least one of the 1963 Cobras (with the LeMans Hardtop), appeared to have quad exhausts sticking out of the rear of the car.
This was the first time I noticed this and to be honest, it looked really nice. I have not seen anything like it on either original cars or others. Does anybody know how/where these were split? There was only one shot that showed this, so if anybody might have additional photo detail that they could provide, much appreciated. Thanks, Bob |
Since they are under the car from your description they could be paired @180° intervals which would give an even exh note or as per the Daytona Coupes which has odd firing intervals in some of the pairs.
