SPF engine choices

Hi all,

Has anyone had any dealings &/or opinions with Performance Engineering Engines. They are in Ohio and have a decent looking crate motor 383 windsor putting out 415/400 hp/tq. They have decent pricing with a full "kit." Let me know if anyone has an opinion. Car is on the boat and will be here soon. I need to make up my mind very soon. I am located in the San Francisco bay area. Thanks.

Andrei

From whom did you order the car, and who is doing the installation?

As you've seen in other posts, Eric (from Performance Engineering) is a good guy and has a solid reputation. But, there is a number of other engine builders who could be considered as well, depending upon your objectives and circumstances.

Andrei- you can do the install yourself. -- if you can work on your M5, you can get an SPF going.

See sepp posts on engine choices.
