Help: Need J302 Cylinder Heads

Am trying to locate a set of M-6049-J302 (or K302) aluminum cylinder heads for sale. Prefer stock or lightly ported, used or NOS, bare or complete, will consider all. Machine shop damaged my heads during rebuild; need replacements to get my Cobra back on the road. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks

If you are finding it necessary to replace these particular heads, there are others available that make a lot more power for similar pricing. The J302 was one of the earliest aluminum heads for a small block. I believe they were from Alan Root. Do yourself a favor and look at other options.

Changing the heads means changing the headers and sidepipes, which are in perfect condition, and makes this an expensive solution. Am aware these are early heads and could purchase "better" from any retail outlet. My car was built in '88 for competition and used these heads (back when they were the s&*t). The point of my rebuild was to use as many original pieces as possible while updating and making the car more streetable. (Moreover I understand the absurdity of restoring a replica, but... it's just such a clean old car and drives well. ;>)
