Which new Holley 650 DP?
 
I have a 351W FMS crate engine with a Weiland Stealth maniford, presently I am running an older Holley DP 650 (4777). The set-up runs pretty good. Low end response is very good. I need to remove the choke horn for more top high air. I would also like to have more tuning options; like 4 corner idle and removable air bleeds.

What is the difference between the Holley 650 DP Street HP (82651) and the Holley 650 DP Pro Series 4150 HP (80541-1)? The Street HP sells for about $500 but the Pro Series is about $675.

What is the difference? I run my Cobra on the street primarily. I have TKO600 (.82 5th) and a 3:31 Jag rear end.

A few differences -- more aggressive calibration (jets, bleeds and blocks) on the Pro series which uses power valves in both the primary and secondary metering blocks. Also has notched floats and jet extensions to prevent fuel starvation in the secondary during hard acceleration and the "high flow" stainless steel throttle valves and base plate.

The Street HP has vacuum ports on its primary metering block (timed) and street base plate. If I remember correctly, a key difference between the 80541 and 4777 metering blocks is the HP's third emulsion bleed in the main well (more precise fuel curve tuning) -- don't know if the Street HP has that feature or not, but it looks like Holley simply bolted a HP main body to a set of 4777 metering blocks and throttle base plate to save money.

Have a Pro series 80541 for sale if you're interested. Pulled harder on the dyno than my 4777 (35+ HP) and an 830 dyno carb (1+ HP) on a relatively mild 331 Windsor.
