Fuel Pressure
hi all
question... 392 ford motorsport crate engine i have a mech fuel pump , has a fuel pressure guage hooked up whith car running has approx 5-6 psi. now when i shut off the car the guage still shows that pressure, but if i go back the next day or so and look at the guage, it will show that there is no pressure. guage is at "0" psi. should it be holding the pressue or is it normal for it to drop to 0 when the car has not run in a day or 2? any input on this would be great. |
No, it won't hold pressure over night. That's normal, don't worry about it.
