Someone please help - it's for a legitimate reason

I see him at Irvine Cars and Coffee all the time. In fact, I have numerous detailed pictures of his build. Why do you need to contact him?

I'm the owner. What do you need to know ?

Am I the only person who is dying to know?
Was it a scuffle at C&C? Cobra pipes have been know to blow debris on Subaru WRX's. :LOL:

No scuffles! Didn't mean to stir the pot or imply he is responsible for any drama... my car was vandalized after C&C and he is the only one who might be able to help me find who did it! :(

The camaradarie is great but some idiots bring their jumpy dogs and small children, and the dogs are better behaved.
Last time I went I walked around and came back to a toddler trying to open my door by force. I wasn't so much worried about damage, just the complete lack of respect. The father was on his cell and couldn't have cared less, but I digress.
And then there's the metalurgy experts who HAVE to know if the brushed and polished "steel" is real or not. :JEKYLHYDE

Man, I'm becoming a curmudgeon.

I'm happy to say it wasn't at C&C (otherwise i'd probably lose all faith in mankind at that point) but sorry to hear about the blatant disrespect to your car.. you'd think 'car guys' are one of the last groups of people that have any respect for each other anymore!

What happened is my dad was visiting town from the east coast and neither of us had ever been to C&C so I drove down from Santa Monica to check it out. Afterwards we rode up PCH and stopped a the Galley Cafe in Newport Beach to grab some breakfast. I parked just around the corner from the front door so I couldnt see the car out the window. We could see the owners of the red Cobra & black Viper chatting though who were parked one car in front of me. I remember because we were anxious to see/hear them pull away, so we paid the bill a few minutes after they left. Walked outside to see the front of my former-virgin '99 M3 smashed in all the way to the fan. The SUV that was parked between us had backed into the car so hard it set the alarm off, but since we were sitting by the radio in the cafe I never heard it :(

I asked inside the cafe, went across the parking lot to the other store, and even knocked on the door of the people who lived across the street to see if any surveillance cameras in the area had a vantage point that captured the culprit. According to sthornton, he and his buddy watched a few people get out of the white Escalade to look at the damage while my alarm was going off. They left without leaving a note or coming inside to ask if the car belonged to anyone. One woman sitting inside said she heard the alarm going off as she walked in.

So unfortunately despite there being 3 witnesses, no one took down the plate number :mad:

FML.

No, people are idiots. Parents are too busy with their smart phones to watch their kids and unfortunately also don't teach their children proper etiquette. It's quite easy to see how kids become their parents. :mad:

@ JV - Nothing like being the victim of someone else's complete irresponsibility to restore your faith in man.
