FYI-Frt License plate enforcement

FYI--I was informed by another member, that the CHP( and other police depts?) will be aggressively enforcing California front plate requirement regulation in June. Now it is a $25.00 fix-it ticket, but it will increase to $250.00 as a moving violation. This is because of the big increase in red light traffic cameras and many drivers removing the front plates to avoid detection.
Looks like I'll be installing Mike Everson's frt license plate bracket after all. Jim

Go to" rpidesigns.com ",enter part # "C6PRLF" in the keyword/search box located in the upper left hand area of the site & watch video. This might solve your impending problem.;) Simple instalation; just rase your oil cooler 2" & the plate will fit in the oil cooler slot & still allow proper fuction of your oil cooler! It will also clear the ground. :)

			front license plates

I thought the traffic cameras were banned months ago. I thought they had been dismantled because they simply wern't producing the revenue they thought they hoped for.

Is your car titled as a 1965? If so, can you find a 1965 plate or has front and rear plates always been the norm in California? Here in Missouri, those red light cameras are being successfully challenged as unconstitutional by a lawyer here. Not sure of his record, but there are many issues with this revenue generator for the "city".
