A reputable carubartor and distributor tuner?

All:

I have a friend with a 1965 Mustang that's had a crate motor installed but suspect it should have a thorough tune. It's his son's but he asked me if I knew of people in the Los Angeles area (he lives in Glendale) that knows how to properly tune a carburator.

In my experience with an expert on carb tuning, he used an infrared exhaust gas analyzer, and custom tuned the car (using fine drill bits on air-bleeds) and properly recurved the distributor. This is the kind of tuner I'm hoping I can guide him to.

Please reply back if you have the name and number of a place in the greater Los Angeles area.

TIA,

-Herman

That's an easy one. He's been around a hundred years. Kind of crusty, buy does good work.

I had these guys go through my Demon carb on my 503 BBF Cobra. They did a great job

X2 on Bob Jennings. Don't let the crusty scare you away, he is really a nice guy and easy to talk to. A one man operation.

Thanks all! He's right in between the two ( 16 miles from Bob and 20 miles from C&J.)
