Cobra meeting's on Saturday in Temecula area?
Hi all,
I am a recent Cobra owner and would like to get together with other Cobra owners on Saturday in the Temecula area for brakfast. Anyone? :D Gerard |
I would just pick a place and a time, let everyone know about it here, and see who shows up. You might eat alone a few times, but as word gets out, more and more people with Cobras will show up.
Pick a spot where you can park the Cobras in full view of the restaurant AND passing traffic. |
Semper Fi,
You might consider driving down to San Diego on the first Saturday of each month. There is a regular meeting in the early AM (Mission Valley near IKEA and Starbucks) for coffee then a "run" with the combined Cobra and Corvette clubs to various places in San Diego County. Usually 20+ cars (with both brands), fun routes, and ends in breakfast or lunch depending on how long the run is. Maybe we could someday all run up to Temecula and have breakfast with you and perhaps you could plan a run in your area. Lots of backroads through the winerys and reservations! Check out the Backdraft mfg. forum and look for Hank Steckel. He is the guy who lets us all know about the upcoming runs/times/places/ etc. SkipB Ps. I like your other "toy" too |
Semper Fi,
I am very close to getting my build done and I am not that far away. I would like to get together when its complete. No more than a month away now. Anyhow, I will private message you when complete and maybe we can meet up for breakfast. Maybe we can split the distance? |

Sure--that sounds great! There's a great show every Saturday morning at 7am in Irvine at the Ford Corporate building @ 7905 Gateway Blvd. See you there! Shoot me an email when your car is done to gerard@theloanfinder.info |
Semper Fi, Very nice............ I am in the proccess of building my butler/arntz Cobra. The person before me removed all of the inner body panels, so when I bought it it was just a shell. I have been able to restore it back to its original state, Its been 2 years now but its worth it and cant wait to be there having breakfast with other Cobra owners..
