Just added my name. Staples Center will work, only problem is that the roads are so bloody bad in that area.

Hey, Check out Gladstone's Fish on Pacific Coast Hwy. at Topanga Cyn. Blvd. It use to be a good place, plenty of parking, located right on the beach, peanuts on the floor great food kind of place. Probabaly 10 to 15 miles from the Peterson and located so it's easy to leave for home....north...south...east..but not west or you will get wet.
Anyway, it's just an idea for lunch after the tour. I'm up for what ever anyone wants to do.

We are booked for Gladstones...2pm! http://www.gladstones.com/

This should give us enough time to see the museum.

Museum Tour 10 - 11:30

Leave Museum by 12:00 and cruise to PCH and up to Malibu...Pepperdine has a great vantage point of the coast if you have not see it before.

Arrive at Gladstones by 1:45PM (I am waiting on a call from the Parking Manager to ensure we have group and secure parking for the cars.)

Lunch from 2 - 3:30 or so...

I am going to scout the rendevous spots to determine the best location...will let you all know after the weekend.

Let me know if there is anything I have missed or we need to consider.

Michael, I attempted to drive up PCH from Santa Monica to Gladstones saturday before last and I had to turn back. PCH was an absolute parking lot going north. It could have been an accident, but I suspect it was typical weekend traffic. May want to scope this out as well. I'd offer to try it again, but I'm away the next two weekends. Otherwise, I think Gladstone's is a great idea.

Best way to get to Gladstones from inland is to take Sunset Blvd. It tees into PCH and Gladstones is right there and eliminates all the bumper to bumper on PCH.

Dino, you should also tell them we want to be outside at the glass so the group can sit together....hope it's a nice day.

If there is anyone else wanting to attend, please let me know ASAP. I want to make sure we have a high enough estimate for Gladstones, and ensure we know the Parking situation for the museum and restaurant.

Also, if last minute you decide you want to come, please do.

I will post an initial rally point on Sunday, 06/07...so look for that.

Rally Point for Visit

Location
401 E. 2nd Street (Corner of 2nd and Central)
Los Angeles, CA (duh) 90012

I will be a the rally point by 8:15AM.

We will leave the Rally Point no later than 9:15AM to make the drive to the Museum. This will ensure we don't hit a load of traffic, and will allow us plenty of time to park and situate ourselves at the museum.

Parking at the museum will be on the third floor where we have reserved spots waiting.

This is an Office Depot parking lot next to a Starbucks.
