Cobra Assault on VCR Supercar Sunday

Thinking about going to Woodland Hills for VCR Supercar Sunday next week (Aug 30). Just wanted to see if any others were interested in cruising up there. I'm in north Orange County, so seeing if anyone wants to meet up somewhere around the 405 and Seal Beach Blvd. to cruise up together.

Are you some kinda nut!

Woodland Hills is only going a balmy 110 Sunday and then the drive on any of the freeways escaping the valley will be clicking along at a brisk 5 mph, either you or the roadster will burn down before the day's out and my guess it would be you  take water lots of water..

If we were npot going to be in a record breaking heat wave this weekend I would say hell yeah but I'm staying near the coast.

I have a coupe with AC, so not a problem. I am checking with a friend of mine on the smoke situation though. Might have to do the Million Dollar Breakfast Cruise in Tustin instead just due to smoke and ash from the fires. Flew into SNA last night and it looked really bad...

Doug,

Its too bad you didnt make it, it was a great morning.
The smoke wasnt an issue, but the people were! It was PACKED! I got there at about 6:55 and I had to park in the out in the marble by CVS.
Lots of cool stuff like always, A Bugatti Veyron was there, Jay showed up late in the Tornado. No cop or management co. issues.

The Calabasas "show" has been shut down. I went this morning only to be greeted by a several security guards (private) informing me that I had to leave. I told them I was there to get a cup of coffee to which they said if I got out of my car and went into the store I would be "served" and they didn't mean coffee.

I have spoken to the owner of a Grocery Store nearby and he has welcomed all of us classic car guys (we all own C1 and C2 Vettes.

My purpose is to reach out to all of you Cobra guys who come to Calabasas. We are going to meet at Fields Market in West Hills. My e-mail is gdavidian@socal.rr.com if you want more details
