The coding is a mess blinking is giving me a headache.
It's even worse on an iPad.

Try this to stop animated GIFs. I hope you have an Escape key on the iPad.

I use Firefox on my PC with the adblock plug-in. Works great. Don't think there's any way around it on the iPad.

Lots of sites need to understand about "displays". I've dropped a few sites and only visit occasionally, and never on mobile, due to the size of their images. Even on DSL I can't stand the time it takes to reload every time I "go back" to the forum lead. This site isn't so bad though. But many sites could figure out how to be more "data" sensitive. Mobile or not, "data" costs. And more and more services are starting to measure data.
