How to post pictures?
I think I've finally figured out how to include a picture inside a forum post, but it sure did seem to be confusing to figure it out. I think it might be helpful to put either a specific FAQ or post in a conspicuous place that has all the details on posting pictures. Some common questions I would address might include:[list=1][*]What is a member gallery and how do I add pictures to my gallery?[*]How do I access a member gallery to see other members' pictures?[*]How do I delete a picture from my gallery?[*]How do I insert a picture in the body of a post to a forum?[*]What are the file formats, size limitations, and other guidelines for posting pictures?[*]Do all my pictures have to be loaded into my gallery in order to show them on the site? Can I post a picture directly from my hard drive?[*]What's the difference between attaching a file of a picture vs posting a picture?[/list=1]
I'm sure there are some more, but in my search to figure this out I noted that these seem to be some of the common questions. I know you're getting paid the big bucks to address dumb ideas like this ;) It's a great site and I appreciate all the work you guys put in to keep it running. Thanks! Scott |

Ron(CW) is in the process of doing just that right now. He will have the pictures along with typed instructions of each step for loading to the gallery and putting pictures into your posts. Ron :) |
