As a newbie to this forum, I would like to say that this excel sheet is a very good reference. I did the search and didn't find much, but just browsing I found this in a matter of minutes.

Great work, and thanks.

Warren,
Is there a new link or has the old link just been updated? Might be easier for many to list the link on your new post. Thanks jeff c

Huh? The zipped file at the beginning of THIS thread has the Excel file which has been updated with some new manufacturers added. Does that answer your question?

vettestr 06-10-2007 07:15 PM

Warren,
I was asking a question and making a suggestion regarding your latest post ... # 29 dated 06/08/07

QUESTION = is the link you first posted back on 05/15/06 now the most recent version ?
SUGGESTION = because the link you mention is over a year old and has the same title, adding a link on your newest post would make it easier for me to know it was a recent revision.
I now understand the link has been updated but the dates confused me at first. OK.... I get confused most of the time but do not tell anybody

wtm442 06-10-2007 08:37 PM

Jeff
The zipped file in the first post of this thread always contains the latest file. Whenever I update the Excel file, I update the zippped file on the thread. I probably reference this thread every week to sombody, and having the latest file up front makes the most sense and is the least confusing (IMHO). Remember that most of the newbies that use the file are new to the forum, so making it easy is best.

I think I'll add a version letter or number or date to differentiate it from older versions.

Warren,

Does anyone have a similar list for the GT40 companies?

Updated list adding a couple of manufacturers (see first post).

I was thinking about adding some information to the list. The items that I would think would help the average newbie would be:

1) Round or rectangular frame?
2) IRS or solid rear?
3) Aluminum or fiberglass body?
4) Is a donor car required?
5) Basic dimensions regarding distance of seat to pedals (etc) like the layout shown on the ERA website (http://erareplicas.com/427/faqs.htm#large)

Do you agree?

Dan Stryffeler 09-18-2007 11:21 AM

"I have started a list of Cobra manufacturers. So far, I have included: ..."

How could the file/list be so big? I thought there was only one "Cobra" manufacturer.

(Sorry, just got into worked and I'm a little bored)

Dan

Great job Warren!.
I was glad to see you added Sagebrush Roadsters to the list. this is Tim Gunning's re-entry into the scene.
If Sagebrush is in there, this list is freshly updated.
Thank you

Just made some major changes to the Excel file on page 1.

I am also planning to contact all manufacturers and see if I can get the information in the following document.

Please open the file and let me know if there are any other major items that would be benefitial to a "newbie". Do not ask me to add prices, because that changes every day and could be very misleading (some features std on one mnfg but optional on an other mnfg.
