Something Stinks in Private Classifieds
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't "Private Classifieds" reserved for individuals selling their own parts and "Parts for Sale (vendor)" is the correct category for companies to market their wares.
If I am right, then it appears some companies are using Club Cobra's "Private Classifieds" as a free ride. There are many other companies who do not abuse this service. They sell a retail product for a retail price. Built into that price are marketing cost. Then you have the free riders who sell goods at retail prices and don't pay for advertising by sneaking into private classifieds. This is not fair for Club Cobra's paying advertisers. I think this should be fixed for the Club Cobra "Private Classifieds" to remain credible and genuine. It was intended to be a place where individuals can buy and sell parts. Not a place where free loading companies can junk up the private listings. It's not hard to spot them: they have multiple listings selling at retail prices, but no post, no gallery and no cobra. These guys should be directed to use the "Parts for Sale (vendor)" category like the legit vendors. If they don't like it: punt/pass/kick. |
I took a look at the ads, which ones are you referring to?
It does not take the moderators around here very long to correct things if indeed they are trying to take advantage of or circumvent the rules. |
