I agree, we do need a dedicated thread. Let's work on it. We haven't retired yet.

I'm width you. The responses show this topic has traction.
I'll see if Brent has a spare forum we can use.

I believe that guy will need his own tire forum. Maybe in the purple & pink powder-puff derby section?

If that burnout video was shot where I think it was, there is a bridge that's just a stone throw away from there.

The video was taken at the 2006 Factory Five open house in Wareham, MA. About 150 FFR's, one ERA and a SPF (mine). Probably not where you thought?

It's a good thing we have the separate wheels and tires forum, because all the nonsense was wearing thin. And my wife was starting to worry about me sitting at the computer chuckling to myself. So no more tire jokes, OK? It seems my total lack of maturity is starting to rubber the wrong way.

Sorry to see this tread. I think it will mostly be too large and too low profile to be of much use to Cobra owners.

Now that I was able to actually get the new forum installed, I hope Tom K. and Ned can talk up a blue streak and actually make use of it.

It's time to roll on to something else. I'm as Avid a fan of this forum as anyone else, but I'm getting tired of a bunch of overinflated windbags popping off. Most of your lousy efforts at humor are rim shots at best.

Look here, you big lug...just when we get the members into a groove, you come along and try and upset the balance.
As far as the humor....DOT's the best we can do.

All right. I guess people think we have stretched this subject about as far as we can. So be it.
What if we abandon tires and go abuse something else for a while. How about shock absorbers? Or would that just be putting a damper on things?
