SPF Hard Top

Hi all

Im looking to buy a hard top for my car, I bought one but its for an older car, dosnt fit the back to good and from my research there was change made to the bodys of the car some where around # 1200. my car is in the 2100s, so if anyone here has a hard top and their car is above the #1400s (to be on the safe side) please do contact me at maxum_101@hotmail.com.

thanks

My guess is that a very small percentage of all SPF buyers opt for a hard top, unless it came as an option on a previously owned car. Probably a pretty small population of possible sellers out there.

The retail list on a painted top is $4,764...not sure what kind of break you get if you buy it with the car.

You might want to post something on SCOF to see if anyone wants to sell.

It is my undestanding that all tops are custom fit to each car, can you grind some off the top or fiberglass some more on to it, its just thin fiberglass?

I have SPF117x and would be willing to take pictures of the hard top if it would help.

How far off is the one you have just a few inches?

Bottom line and the overall consensus is that they are very ugly and who would want one. If you like that look don't own a Cobra, buy a Daytona.

Do you not have a soft top & side curtains?
For the short period of time we can drive our cars up here at this time of year, I find mine works great.
We were out for a 300km. cruise last Sun. & I have been out twice this week & will probably be out today & tomorrow.:)
Quite comfy with just a sweatshirt.

the spf body was changed in the 1400 #s over all the top does fit but has big gaps every where.. the top sits on the middle of the back end but all around the contours there is a large gap. i talked with the people from hillbank and the said yes that there was a body change and that the top does not fit my number of car

lol i would get a coupe but the problem is ....where to find one. im not to big of a fan for the coupe. something about the car... not sure... dosnt look mean enough or maybe it just looks too narrow, skinny tires, dont get me wrong i would get one in a heart beat... but my love is for the cobra.

Do you belong to SCOF? Try posting your request there. There is a SPF dealer who posts there offering cost+ prices to members.
