NEW Hi-Tech Supercar

And, as if the trip to South Africa wasn't enough... how about feasting your eyes on this new beauty from Hi-Tech? The Perana Z-One Supercar. I want one bad.

Not a Superformance product but a Hi-Tech Product. The all-new Perana Z-One is the brainchild of Jimmy Price of Hi-Tech Automotive in Port Elizabeth. Developed and built in Hi-Tech’s factory and shipped to Europe, the prototype was launched at the Zagato display at the Geneva Auto Show from March 3rd to 15th - a unique feat for a South African conceived, designed, engineered and developed car.

Different but not bad. I would tell those cuties in the tight blouses to keep their Levi cutoffs off of the paint though.

I like the lines. Kind of looks like several different cars...Jag, Maserati, smoother looking Scarab in the back. The interior looks nice/clean.

The booth talent ain't half bad either. :)

Agreed. So at least someone is actually building one. :)

Paint it in that chrome paint from Alsa and you get the GR-1 look at a fraction of the cost, too.

Here are all the details on the Zagato Perana:
http://www.autoblog.com/2009/03/03/g...ire-in-motion/
The price had been announced as "less than 50.000 Euro", which equals a bit less than 70.000 US$, plus tax. Not too bad for an animal like that.
Hey - but it has a roof and doesn't come with these babes ... :D

Tvr???

I for one have always loved TVRs, since way before TVRs were cool, but comparing it to this Hi-Tech car, really?

This Perana Z-One is soooo totally different and better looking. Absolutely no comparisson. Some very, very, very coincidental and slight resemblance, but not even close.
