Does anyone have a list of all 50 Diamond Edition SPFs?
Does anyone have a list of all 50 Tenth Anniversary Diamond Edition SPF MkIIIs? I've been trying to piece a list together from previous posts on Club Cobra, Cobra Country and from Googling around, and thought it would be a useful reference for everyone.
This is what I've got so far. Please post additions/corrections if you know of any other cars. # of 50 - Chassis - Owner (CC name) - Current location Car #01 - SP01910 - Silver - n/a Car #05 - SP0???? - Silver - n/a Car #07 - SP01917 - Silver - raybristow - CANADA Car #08 - SP01923 - Silver - standard - USA Car #10 - SP01915 - Silver - n/a - USA Car #19 - SP01992 - Silver - 65rfg - USA Car #21 - SP0???? - Silver - n/a - USA Car #24 - SP02047 - Red - GC427 - USA Car #26 - SP02045 - Silver - FrankM1 - CANADA Car #32 - SP02102 - Silver - comstock - USA Car #35 - SP02101 - Silver - Front Row Cars, Cincinnati OH - USA Car #40 - SP02094 - Silver - n/a - CANADA Car #41 - SP02244 - Silver - n/a - USA Car #42 - SP02245 - Silver - SPF2245 - USA Car #44 - SP02189 - Silver - SJK2 - USA Car #45 - SP02234 - Silver - ha_pe_1968 - AUSTRIA Car #50 - SP02275 - Silver - TRIG - USA Car #?? - SP01919 - Silver - n/a - USA Car #?? - SP01948 - Silver - Baxter Chrysler, Omaha NE - USA Car #?? - SP01989 - Silver - n/a - USA Car #?? - SP02177 - Silver - n/a - USA Car #?? - SP02199 - Silver - D&M Motorsports, Glen Ellyn IL - USA Car #?? - SP0???? - Red - Ken Harris, AZ - USA I read somewhere that 37 of these cars were painted Dark Silver and 13 were painted Amulet Red. Don't know if that's true yet. |
I can tell you from servicing it that #44 is Dark Silver.

SPO 2045 is # 26 of 50.

Stupid question?
What is different with a "Diamond Edition" SPF versus a std issue car? |

Hi Sundude!
Should be right 37 silver, 13 red...was reading the same in the SPF manual. If you search on Cobracountry you should find one more red one. It was for sell there. Greetings from Austria Peter PS: ha, now i know there can only exist 31 cars like mine in my neighborhood. |
SPF #1989 was one Silver car that was bought by a guy here in Houston. Later sold it and I think he said it ended up in Pa. Like Doug said, gray interial/dash'plaque/seats embroidered and the chrome ball shifter. Don't know what # out of 50 it was.

Hello SunDude,
SP02047 resides in Battle Ground, WA It's Amulet Red with Stuttgart Silver stripes. I recently purchased the Cobra from Harold, the first owner, who put 450 miles on it in 5 years of ownership. Yesterday, I took it for a 425 mile scenic drive and have attached a photo. The car now has 2298 miles. By summer's end, it will probably end up with around 7,000+ miles. SP02047 has a polished Roush 427R and Tremec TKO 600 Road Race 5 speed. I've changed the steering wheel from a Moto-Lita 14" leather to a Moto-Lita 15" wood, and intend to change the 3.73 rear gear ratio to either a 3.27 or 3.08 for some 3,000 mile tours. Thanks for the info, Gil. Yours is car #24 of 50, right?
And glad to see you're planning on driving your car. I just got back from a 3½-hour cruise to nowhere in particular; just enjoying the sun and the car. Ahhhhh! |

Hello SunDude,
SP02047 at Portland International Raceway yesterday. There were several Cobras, a GT40, a Daytona Coupe, Shelby Mustangs: vintage to new, etc. We had a great day. Enjoy your weekend. |

Next time I see Brant and his 10th anniversary Cobra I will definitely get the numbers for you. Hopefully I'll see him tonight. Stu. |
Well it looks like all of the 10th Anniversary Diamond Edition SPFs have been identified -- click here to see the full list.
All, that is, except car #4 of 50 which is out there somewhere. If you know where it's at and what its chassis number is, please chime in. (UPDATE: Car #4 has since been identified as SP01921, and is painted Dark Silver.) 40 Dark Silver + 10 Amulet Red = 50 Diamond Editions 30 cars produced in 2004 + 20 cars produced in 2005 = 50 Diamond Editions |

According to the ad found at the following link at racingjunk.com, #38 of 50 is up for trade (possibly sale) in Marion Texas. Says it has had the front end replaced due to a previous wreck but appears there is a good bit of work yet to be done.

Hi Jeff!
I do not think these cars costs more or less then any other SPF. Only thing what i have noticed when i was searching for mine (i wanted it cause of the color combination) most cars have not much miles on it and often these cars have a Roush 427R in it. Peter |
