Broken/failed rear shock bolts
Just another quick FYI for you SPF guys that haven’t checked your rear shock bolts.

I had a friend have a bad accident, thankfully not injured, due to this same thing. 600hp spinning uncontrolable with wheel inside fender sending the car off the road. I am not in the know about the SPF frame however I heard they are adjustable via a bolt, which can shear as it did with my friend. I suggest setting your ride hieght then weld it solid....... |
This issue has been known for a year or so, and there is a fix.

Does this issue apply to all SPF car numbers? Or has this issue been fixed at some point.

If I remember correctly, the factory beefed up the design at around #1670. Cars made after that are still subject to some sheer BUT they used heavier bolts and welded sleeves into the chassis hole to minimize the stress. If you have a car above 1670, the bolts should continue to be monitored and treated as a regular maintenance item. Lower car numbers should DEFINITELY buy the upgraded mounts and put the issue to rest. As for me, even if I had one of the later cars, I would invest a couple of hundred bucks in the upgrade and eliminate any concern. As much as we dump into "fun stuff", it makes at least as much sense to invest in safety.
