Electric choke wiring with one-wire alternator

I'm installing the engine in my new SPF cobra. I'm using a one-wire alternator (MSD). Normally, the electric choke on the carb is supplied from the stator terminal of the alternator but now there isn't one. Does anyone know how I wire up the choke?

thx

Matt

You can use any key-on 12V source.

Any ignition keyed source as bingo says, however, ensure there is a fuse in series. I've seen a direct connection to the alternator turn the wire into one big fuse and almost burn the car to the ground.

Thx, guys. Just what I needed. I assume the fuse should be sized just a bit above whatever the choke needs.

Matt
