ZF differential angle correction
I'm installing the engine in SP3033. I've heard that cars with the new ZF diff were installed in a way to create the wrong angle between the engine/tranny centerline (I'm using a 351W based engine) and the drive-shaft. I also heard that SPF corrected it. Does anyone know when the correction was made and if there's a way to inspect the car for whether or not it has the correction?

Matt: When I did my install I too noted quite a bit of an angle with the driveshaft installed and offset the problem, to a small degree, by shifting the entire engine and trans slightly, emphasis on slightly, to one side. Still a considerable driveshaft side to side angle when all is said and done but to date I've had no problems in terms of vibration at high (or low) speeds. My number is SPO 2820 so it doesn't look like the factory has done anything to improve on the situation. Hopefully the thinking is that modifications are not necessary and the driveshaft angles that result are okay? Here's hoping.....
