Dark Silver SPF Baltimore/Washington DC?

Good Morning... Does anyone here have a Dark Silver Superperformance in the Baltimore, MD / Washington DC area that would be willing to show me their car? I am considering buying one and would like to see one (that is convenient) before trekking cross country.

Also, does the dark silver have a metal flake in it?

Thank you.

Don't know if you are aware, but you can pick any color you want, and SPF will paint it for you in that color. Just find a paint color and code # and give it to Dennis Olthoff when you order the car. Simple as that! Olthoff should be your closest dealer,- if not, do yourself a favor and go down to NC and see him. :)

I think he just wants to see it in person -- you could watch that Joey Valentine movie again - but its not the same thing.

Just seen the thread, but if you just want to see a SPF mine is not in your choice of colors (Indigo Blue/Viper Grey with silver pin stripes) you are welcome to look and ride. We can even put it on the lift if you like. And yes Dennis Oltoff is the one to talk too! PM me if you want, live in Elkton, about 3 miles from the Northeast red light!

Wild Bill,

Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on it, especially if it looks like I may go the Superformance route. I was really trying to find a car with that color "close" to me that I could see it in person as I'm not really sure if I can get a really good indication of the color based on the pictures.

Thanks again.

If I can be of service let me know, but no ride for a week. Pulling the intake and having it power coated, I don't know what it is with the newer aluminun manifolds but looks like it's rusting I can wire brush it a off but a pain hope this fixes the problem!

I suspect this isn't much help, but at least I'll extend the offer----------I have a dark silver Superformance with light silver stripes (no metal flake). I purchased the car new and this was the factory color. I couldn't be happier----doesn't show dirt and bugs!! Now the problem. I live in central Illinois. In the event you can't visit, I can send pictures that might help.

Dennis olthoff is no longer a dealer, he does installs and technical work now. I have two cars on the way to him for installs that are just on the water.

I have color samples that I can send to review so long as they are returned.

It is metallic, but not "metalflake"

Dennis hasen't been a dealer for along while, Ed Whalin was the dealer and Dennis did the installs. Unforniately Ed went into partners with some well lets say unreliable people and he lost all. I talk to Ed on ocassion and he is still trying to recover. Dennis is defently the top of the list on information for these cars. He had a aluminum Datona Coupe in his show room last I was there. If you talk to Dennis tell I said Hell-o from Maryland.

Sailfish,

Thanks for the offer, if only I was closer... I have pictures, but I'm the type that has to see it in person to really get it.

Thanks anyway.

Mark IV,

Thanks for the offer. I think I am moving past the car in question.

Thanks again
