Alternator Bracket for 351W solution PART II

Before I pull the lever on the March V Belt set up for my Alternator, can anyone contrast the advantages for changing the whole set up for the ribbed serpintine system?
Its about $400 more but there may be a reason?
Thanks again for your invaluable input!

M.S. make sure you double check the clearances between the alternator and the fender well before you buy, I don't know your spo number but it gets tight down there, what other accessory's are you running? just alternator ?

Serpentine style belts have a higher load capacity, work on smaller diameter pullies, last longer, have the ability to drive devices on either side of the belt and they look badass compared to a v-belt.

March #30395 is the low mount alternator bracket. #1670 looks like the pulley kit to use. I didn't need the alternator pulley when I did my SPF, so I orderd the pullies separately. I didn't need to shim anything on my SBF-everything lined up correctly. Pulley kit and bracket kit runs a little over $300. These are for a standard rotation water pump, drivers side lower radiator hose. I used a Gates K060400 belt and everything fit well in my SPF.
