Is there anybody in the San francisco bay area that i can get a windshield for a superformance chassis # 1723

This is not right in your area, but worth checking out.
Cobra Valley's PolyGlass Hi-Performance Windshields

I have heard several very good reports about these windshields.

Mike - I second that vote on the poly glass. I have a couple of friends who have installed and love it!!! If you want original glass, contact Hillbank in Irvine
