You can actually have them made locally at a plastics shop if you have the dimensions.
Real easy project.

That's what I did. Took one off and went to Tap Plastics and had a half a dozen made up so I have spares.

Make sure you have the edges polished.

My side wings are slightly cloudy. Can you polish them or do you replace them?

I have never tried to polish them so I do not have a clue if you can or not.

Either. sunvisor or side. Are the side ones or the sunvisors vital? I have some grit called micromesh. They use it on jets to polish the windsscreens. It's in a pck with 3000, 4000, 6000.8000, and 10,000 grit. I've used the same sheets for years. You can polish your car with it. And sunglasses etc.

Here are my thoughts on glass.

First they will be heavier. Not much, but to me every little bit matters.

You would have to have 4 holes drilled in every piece. Not something you will be able to do at home.

You would probably need rubber isolators and a clamp up pad on the nut side to keep from breaking them as you tightened them up.

And finally at least for the side wings they are more exposed to the aerodynamic loads, so I would worry about them breaking at the attach points.

Just my thoughts.

The originals have COBRA embossed in silver. They show up on eBay, but currently I only see wind wings with the COBRA label listed. Some of the normal vendors have them, the label is a nice touch.

i tried to polish my wind wings using a product called novus, i was not impressed with the results.

I used Mequires scratch remover and ultimate clear coat compound on mine came out great. first owner used a kitchen soft scrub pad and scratched them up badly. Took a while to work out by hand however removed 98% of the scratches. Now the bugs don't stick so bad either. Try it.

I tried the glass ones from Finish Line, thinking they wouldnt scratch as easy as plastic. Didnt think i overtightened them but when driving for some reason, one shattered with glass pieces all over the interior of the car.

I switched back to the plexiglass and now use a Novus product to polish them and a Zaino product for plastic to remove any scratches.

My originals kept breaking around the screw holes for the hinges so I went to a local glass shop and had them make me some out of a lightly tinted Lexan. They have been on the Cobra for over 12 years now and not a scratch or problem at all. They also rounded the edges off, beveled them for me and then a woman that I know made the Cobra stickers out of a vinyl sign material and sized them to the correct size and put them on. Total cost was just over $50 dollars and I got a lot of compliments on how well they looked and where could they get some like them. I just used a very soft rag and water to wipe the dust and any bugs off of them.

My pedantic windshield and side screens have been on for years. I use the rotary high speed finish polisher with a foam pad and a finish glaze product. Makes them like new. Just be carefull not too stay at one spot to long as plastic can get hot enough to melt. I changed the shape of my sidescreens which helped a lot with cockpit turbulance. :)
