Getting ready to leave and have made some interesting observations. Sears has a nice roll up tool bag, peterbilt has a great tire repair kit, and my Jeep Liberty has a scissors jack that is in its own case. Let the games begin!

150 miles into trip. Just fueled up and surprisingly 21 mpg!!

Just got into Harwich Ma. Filled up one mile from my house and filled up one mile from my Mom's house. Twenty five and one half gallons of gas. Smart right foot and didn't speed too much. That's for 490 miles. I'm impressed. There are some good reasons for a small block. I'm waiting for Patrickt to come off his meds and chime in on this. Let's see if I can duplicate this on the way home. Let you guys know if I catch any big stripers.

Well the fishing was terrible! Three small bluefish. A 20 foot great white was sighted off Chatham 400 yards off the beach! The seal population is out of control hence the large sharks. The car performed flawlessly. Gave my brothers thrill rides on the twisties on the Cape. Was going to go home today but heavy rain has postponed that until tomorrow. Will report upon return to Baltimore. Tom

Glad you took your SPF out and went for a blast ! We did a lap of the Bay area one night and a few trips to Monterey and back , but nothing like the 500 miles -
Maybe we need to have a cobra rally to Vegas and back ?

Sorry I haven't posted on the return trip. Again I had no problems at all. Now I'm back to work. I'm delivering a 1931 Auburn Speedster today. I also have the Sunray DX Corvette to deliver later this week. This is the car that won Sebring. Tom
