Looking for Body Parts

Hi,
I'm looking for front body and hood (high cowl). Does anyone know where to buy used body parts as the front at hillbank is actually at 7000:(

thanks

Maybe not what you want to hear, but it's a matter of supply and demand ($). Be thankful that Hillbank actually carries the replacement panels (not all Superformance dealers have the space nor capital to do the same). And you will have peace of mind knowing that it will fit like a glove, too.

I believe ther is an entire left side clip on eBay for sale and also a wrecked rear clip on ebay.

Academic,

if you order the part at Hillbank, they order it at the factory. You have to wait few weeks. One year ago the price for the front was about 3500. That was ok, but not 7000. Then another 1500 for crating and shipping in US

Blas,

you are right, but I'm looking for the front and the hood.
BTW this side clip was offered to me 2 years ago when I had an accident with the SPF799

Yes I remember that... What ever happened to that #799 chassis?
What you really need is a Wiring Diagram for that new chassis - old #799's Diagram won't be of much use to you.

I have sold the #799 to germany. Actually I own #2565

jumpman420 03-22-2013 07:04 PM

Did it go to Herman?

romko007 03-23-2013 05:08 AM

No, it goes to a guy in Germany. Herman was living in Holland. As far as I know he is living in the US at moment.

What does it mean? Sorry, but my english is not the best

Anyway, it was a minor damage. Engine&trans (Roush 427R) is fine. Also the suspension is ok. The frame was bented, but not to much. Unfortunately, the damaged body parts are missed. Otherweise I would fix it.

To sum up, it was a new car with few scratches:D and after my experience with the damaged #799 the repair of this car is peanuts for me.
