MK II slabside on the way..
I have a MK II slabside inbound, and will install a FR 302 & TKO 600 when it arrives. Does the rear lug on the Tremec need to be trimmed off like the MK III cars?

no trimming required with TKO,but the the mountings do sometimes. Don't use a lakewood bellhousing or an 11inch flywheel. Creates too many unnecessary hassles. Are you installing yourself? I am doing the install myself. I'm using 10.5" FR steel flywheel, Tremec aluminum bell. You mention the engine mounts may be a problem? I have 289 Cobra motor mounts from Cobra Restorers, '65 Mustang trans mount as well. Are there any issues with factory SPF header fit? Thanks for the help offer! Larry, Thanks, will do soon.
