Busy weekend
Since I'm waiting to get all the papers through to register SP1352, I kept myself busy this weekend by removing the sliders from the drivers seat to gain some space (now my wife complains she won't be able to drive it anymore :o) and by doing the roll-bar bolt upgrade (pain in the .... to cut a thread in there, but no I didn't break it).
At the same time, this allowed me to remove a "wing nutted" wheel for the first time, not too hard after watch Denis Olthoff's video on youtube, and to safety wire the wing nut after reinstallation of the wheel (and yes I did put anti seize on it) Lot's of stuff left to do, next up will be the harnesses (so the rear wheels will have to come off again), headlight buzzer, figuring out a way to install a narrow dead rest pedal next to the clutch, moving the brake pedal closer to the throttle and and and **) This forum and SCOF have been a great help so far. Keep it up! |
Getting it done! Good for you!
Just got mine on the road today, posted it on my forum. |
