Shift vibration

One year owner of SF 2943. Love the car but one small problem. There gear shift makes a vibration sound. The sound goes away if my hand is on the knob. Any ideas?

Pull the boot and make sure the shifter bolts for the handle are tight. That would be my first thought. Is the shift knob tight also?

I had the same problem with my backdraft and it was a loose shifter, So take the boot off and tighten the two Allen nuts.

this would be my guess as well....had this happen to me. Might want to put a little of the red loctite on the bolts.
