Superformance 2-tone interiors?
This is the only two tone interior I've seen from SPF. Typically, I've seen the tan interiors get a tan carpet and door panels. This one has black door panels as well. Only the seats are tan leather. When I asked the original owner about this he told me he simply asked for the tan leather interior and this is how it was delivered. He did not specifically request two tone or leather seats only. It was built at the end of 2005 and is #2256. Has anybody seen similar interiors?
BTW, I love it! http://customshowboards.com/spo2256/P4110647bweb.jpg |
I had an anniversary edition and the whole interior matched, like a baby blue.

I believe the anniversary diamond editions had black carpeting with gray seats, doors, and dash.

Yes,
You can do contrasting seats or a complete tan or red interior. You can also have contrasting piping on the seats. The 289 cars we do with optional interior colors are done as the original 289 Cobras were i.e. colored seats, carpets and doors with a black dash. Currently Shelby is having the dash done in the optional color. We can do so also but think the black dash looks more "correct" |
In mid 2007 when the tan and grey was first being offered, the vinyl and leather was colored and the carpet was black.
