This WAS the spittin' image of AZLimey's car...on its way to a new finish in Azzuro California at a local Corvette restoration shop. It is currently the "favorite" car in the building... :-)

That's just scary :-) I'm still working my way through the MVD process of title and registration. Seems in little Overgaard, they are a bit confused by the Superformance. It'll all work itself out in good time.

The paint was not as nice as yours appears to be. Needed to be done. The Titanium color does grow on you...and "almost" stayed with it. Silver blue is my favorite color though, and I figured that I was not ever going to get a Ferrari or 60s Corvette in that color, so might as well paint the Cobra. It will look great I'm sure. Not too far off of the FIA team color, which I really like on the 289 cars. Probably closer to the Portofino Blue, which Superformance offered, but a little richer.

My car was already titled in MN, so it was an uneventful transfer...

I've been informed that I now need an AZ Level 2 inspection to get an AZ VIN for the car because when California titled it they put "0000" in the year and AZ has to issue a new VIN so it can be titled correctly and as a 1965. The saga continues...
Oh, and I live remote so the nearest inspection station is 76 miles away.

A level 2 is no big deal other then being a pain in the a$$ to get there.
Don't even worry about it, it will pass with no problem at all.

WOW, that does look Great.
What color is it?

Nice! I had a red SPF street car similar to yours (no rollbar) here in the cities last spring/summer. I'm rollin' in an ERA now. Ever go to cars and coffee?

We have a lake place, so usually take a car up there on weekends. Consequently we have never been to Cars and Coffee. Sounds fun, but its the other side of midnight from us and I hear that it has become quite crowded. Sounds like a test of cooling systems to me. :-)

We do Cruizin' on the Croix on Wednesdays in Stillwater, Wheels and Wings in Osceola and Wheels of Italy. Road America in July. Maybe a few more. Primarily, we just cruise along the river and through rural Wisconsin.

What prompted the move from Superformance to ERA?
