VMS small block turkey pan mods

1 Attachment(s)
So a while back I was having some percolation problems with our sh*tty CA winter gas; part of the solution (most) was to get rid of my big billet fuel log which was living below the turkey pan (via two -6an extensions) right next to the hot intake manifold. I replaced all the metal fuel feed lines with nylon hoses both exiting through the back fuel feed hole of the ticket pan. I've sealed up the forward fuel feed hole with some aluminum stack and DSTape ( for now)...

Being one to take ideas to the extreme I also wanted to close up the giant hole in the back for the little throttle rod.

This is what I came up with, works great.

A new upper pan is coming made with no hole through which I will drill one hole for the throttle rod.

Parts are a small block VMS turkey pan, a bunch of 6mm all- thread, shrink wrap and a 6" 1/2x1/2 al bar tapped 6mm both ends...
