Broken Axle (maybe).

SPFR 0012 (a year old) with about 5k on the clock, seems to have ether broke the ZF diff, or more likely an axle. Zero noise when in gear clutch out, speedo indicating MPH. Up in the air one wheel turns the other is still or can be spun by hand ether direction. Anyone else experience this? Thinking that I should have gone with the Salisbury diff. If it is an axle, we have a lead on getting stronger/better ones from a NC company "The Driveshaft Shop". Any pros/cons?

Mark.

I have a pare differential if you need one.

If you have a posi traction rear end the posi could have broken. Mine did that once when racing and coming out of a corner and it was one of those aw crap moments as the car turned completely sideways. I went to a beefed up positraction unit from Eton and never had another problem.

I've had The Driveshaft Shop make axles and fit them to CV joints. They were great to deal with and made everything very easy. I'm sure you won't have any trouble if you buy from them.
