I would hazard a guess and say 2001/2002 range

Which chassis number is it? The number given isn't a standard format for a superformance chassis.

The car was fabricated in 1999. It is chassis #685. Probably sold the same year or the following. (Shipping and showroom floor time) VIN tag is a standard version used for a period of time. Feel free to contact me directly if you have lots of questions I’ll send you a contact number.

Blas, so you’re saying the scof reference is incomplete? What range number of cars used that vin format?

Buddy Gregory 11-18-2018 05:23 PM

Buddy,

you talked to me about this car before you saw it. Feel free to call again to discuss.

The Superformance Chassis Number should start with SP0. My Superformance chassis Number for example is SP01400.

"Blas, so you’re saying the scof reference is incomplete? What range number of cars used that vin format?"

Over the years the format of the VIN number has had a few permutations. I don't have the specifics in-hand and it would take some work to compile a listing. But if you have a copy of the Owner's Registry that 2nd Strike sells, I believe you can get an approximation of when VIN numbers were changed. Not all VIN's are listed in the document. Probably just those that were supplied by owners.
