Any one know the part number for clutch slave cylinder spo2285 with roush engine

I've used a NAPA slaves in my Superformance with a small block but I don't have the p/n.
Ask the SCOF guys, somebody will have it.

The slave used is dependent upon who did the build out. Most installers used a slave of their choice. There is no "factory" slave or specified slave.

I ran into the same problem with my Superformance with a small block Roush. Seems there were multiple slave cylinders used. I finally took the old one and went to my local NAPA store and they had an exact replacement. They didn't have it in stock but obtained it the next day. Don't remember the part number but NAPA should be able to help you if you can take the old one with you.

I'd recommend calling Fortes and getting something nice.
Others will work but I prefer not to have a replacement Isuzu truck part in my Cobra ;)

Uhhh, if I had to bet on which piece would last longer, an OEM Isuzu part or an OEM Shelby part, I'm betting on Isuzu.:LOL:

The slave will vary also by big-block to small-block, aluminum bellhousing to steel scatter shield, etc. There is no "one size fits all". Some installers fabricated their own slave mount so that also effects the slave selection.

You think the Isuzu part fails on an Isuzu truck with as few miles at it did on the OP's car?

Get the Fortes/CNC setup. Line it up. And eventually when it leaks, the CNC rebuild kits are cheap and easy. No more going to Napa and asking Cooter to browse through the catalog.

I eventually gave up on the hydraulic-throwout-bearing config and went to the Forte setup. My clutch master was a CNC and I did rebuild it for a very small charge.

I second that! After a rebuild and a second failure in a few months I ditched it and went with the more classic approach and never had any other problems.
