How many shims on your drive axels.

We just went thru having a CV undo it self in a normal U-turn. When the new axel arrived we where given to shim/spacers that go on the outer stub axel, our car came with one on each side. We assemble the new axel with one as it came. So I'm wondering what others have. This is a newer build car with the ZF (Camaro) diff. Also how much play do you have when the car is sitting on the ground? That would be movement of the axel shaft between the inner/outer CVs.

Thanks

Mark.
