Heater Control Knob
I've tried pulling out the heater knob and even turned on the fan. even with the engine warmed up I still get cool air. Is the knob pulled out far enuf or is something else wrong?

Does your car have the actual heater installed?
If so, did you turn the fan on to circulate the air through it?

Look under the passenger side fender. You should see a valve installed on one of your heater hoses. By pulling the dash knob out, you should see the cable open the valve....pushing the knob, you should see the valve close.
