Mk ll question

Looking into getting in line to purchase a Mark ll and doing some leg work on the ignition system and wondering if there is room under the dash to hide a msd box . The car will have the heater /defrost option
any info will be great
Bob

Hi Bob.
Very few space under the dash but you can hide your Msd box under driver or passenger seat. You have 2 rectangular metal sheets bolted and once removed you can easily install your msd box. It's done like that on my MK2.

Yes, plenty of room for an MSD box, but why?

The MSD units are known for "suspect quality" on the non-race boxes and have a high failure rate. If you want to duplicate the original look Pertronix makes an "as-cast" distributor with internal spark box.

As others said, yes, there is room.

I would be happy to help you with your build spec and order.
