Superformance MK II trans question

Superformance wants you to use a TKX trans , my build will only be around 300HP and with skinny tires , i am looking at 94-95 T5 that is rated for 300hp but it is an inch longer as it uses a different bellhousing and input shaft , will there be enough room on the crossmember to slot the holes
any info would be great
thanks Bob

Yes, we have used the T5 in the MK II chassis.

You can use a T10 as the original 260/289 Cobras used but you have to use a Hurst Competition Plus shifter assembly as the Ford shifter assembly is to wide and hits the tunnel.
