Battery
Hi all,
Can someone recommend a high quality battery for a MK3 SF? |
Optima red top. Lasts for years.

I agree about Optima reds.
When the car isn't running disconnect the battery (you do have a shutoff switch, right?) and put it on a battery tender. |
With a little trimming of the battery sides (where the handle is attached), I'm really happy with the Interstate MTX-24F.

So a 24f is what is needed to fit in the small SF compartment with top posts?

I used a 1" wide nylon strap wrapped around the bottom and up the sides to work as a handle to lower the battery into the compartment.
